KELLY MCGUFFIN

BIO

Kelly is a registered dietitian with a bachelor degree in dietetics and a minor in public health/health assessment and promotion from James Madison University. Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude and went on to complete her dietetic internship from the University of Virginia. Kelly also received her master's degree in nutrition from Central Michigan University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Kelly has a diverse background working in the hospital setting as well as the outpatient setting. Areas of practice include working with both the pediatric and adult population with obesity and a diverse range of medical conditions from celiac disease, diabetes, bariatric surgery, heart disease, eating disorders, kidney disease, pulmonary disease, substance abuse, and much more.

DAWN CROFT
R.D.N., L.D.N.

BIO

Dawn is a registered dietitian, member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and licensed in Maryland. Dawn graduated from University of Delaware with a bachelor of science in Dietetics and went on to complete an internship at University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore Maryland. Dawn has a large range of experience in outpatient and inpatient nutrition. She worked at Washington Hospital Center as an outpatient Dietitian in their Renal clinic and wellness center before moving in to an inpatient role as the burn and trauma dietitian. While in her internship, she completed a food allergy program for a large hospital. The abstract was published by the American Dietetic Association and received an award from the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network. Dawn has since worked in the community providing nutrition education in a variety of topics to corporations as well as individuals. Dawn is an active and motivated individual and strives to help others achieve optimal health with realistic lifelong eating behavior.

GENEVIEVE CLARKE
R.D.N., L.D.N., C.D.E.

BIO

Genevieve Clarke, R.D.N., L.D.N., C.D.E. is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a member of both the American Dietetic Association and American Association of Diabetes Educators. Genevieve has a broad range of experience from both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings to physician supervised weight loss programs. Genevieve served as the outpatient dietitian for the diabetes management program at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center and as the dietitian at a well know local physician supervised weight loss clinic.

Genevieve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science with a concentration in Human Nutrition at Clemson University. Genevieve completed her dietetic internship through Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. During her internship Genevieve performed her medical nutrition therapy rotation at Inova Fairfax Hospital and completed specialty training at bariatric surgery centers, weight management programs and sports nutrition sites throughout Northern Virginia. Genevieve also holds the Group Fitness Instructor Certification through the American Council on Exercise and is a practicing group exercise instructor and personal trainer. As a dietitian, Genevieve takes a balanced approach to nutrition. Genevieve has extensive experience in nutrition counseling for weight management, cholesterol improvement, diabetes control, high blood pressure, insulin training, binge eating disorder, bariatric surgery, general wellness and various gastrointestinal issues. Genevieve is also an avid runner, participating in numerous half marathons, 10K and 5K races.
